Around 776 acres in size, Silver Lake State Park is a fun, pet-friendly state park for those looking to spend the day outdoors. The park is near Silver Lake, so you can spend your day on the water to cool off from the sun. If you want to rent a pavilion here, you need to pay $50; the pavilion can hold up to 56 people. In the winter, if the lake is frozen, you can have a relaxing day of ice fishing.

Getting a hunting permit

To hunt the small and big game at the Silver Lake State Park, you need to fill out the park's form located on its site. Be sure to carry the permit with you while hunting. Also note that rifle hunting isn't allowed at this park, along with hunting wild turkey.
